Terms and Conditions
The following Conditions apply to all the guests of Sokrat Hotel.
Guests may book in advance or on arrival. Subject to the availability, the Hotel reserves the right to confirm the booking or to refuse it, if there is a good reason.
The final payment is generally required upon departure, but guests may be required to provide a deposit or credit card imprint/details upon booking or arrival.
Check-in and Check-out Times
Guests may check-in at any time from 3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. We apply early check-in times only if required by the guest in advance. If a guest has not checked-in by 10.00 p.m., the Hotel is entitled to re-let the room unless the guest has notified the Hotel that he/she will be arriving late. Rooms booked on pre-paid rates will be held for the entire day of arrival.
On departure, guests must vacate their rooms and check-out by no later than 12.00 p.m. Failure to do so will entitle the Hotel to charge for an additional night of stay. If you would like to check-out after 12.00 p.m. you must notify the reception in advance, 24 hours prior to your departure. In any case, the latest time that guest must check-out is 05.00 p.m.
Guests must pay all outstanding charges on departure. We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, and Maestro). Guests will pay the hotel in the local currency (ALL) according to the exchange rate on the day of payment and can also pay by check or cash.
In the case of a cancelation 24 hours prior to check-in time, there will be no cancelation fee charged to you. If you cancel less than 24 hours from check in time, you will be charged the full amount of room charges for the first night of your booking.
Right of Refusal
The Hotel reserves the right to refuse a guest entry and accommodation if, on arrival, management reasonably considers that the guest is under the influence of drink or drugs, is unsuitably dressed or is behaving in a threatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner.
Guests shall comply with all reasonable rules and procedures in effect at the Hotel, including but not limited to health and safety and security procedures and statutory requirements as to registration.
Guests are not allowed to take anyone else at their room without their prior declaration and registration of the respective ID at the reception.
